About

The Wangaratta Jazz & Blues Festival are proud to announce the re-birth of this iconic music event. Now in its 34th year, the festival has provided musicians with wonderful opportunities, pathways and collaborative musical experiences that are vital for the development of Australian live music.

In 2024, our vision is to produce a venue based festival that will feature live Australian Jazz and Blues artists across 4 days.

Each event will be individually ticketed allowing guests to go on a live music crawl across local venues on the weekend of Nov 1 - 4. The festival will feature established and emerging jazz and blues artists with a strong focus on youth.

There will be other shows at various venues throughout the day.

Sunday will start with the traditional jazz mass and will see gigs in the Cathedral all day concluding a light show with the local orchestra and a local jazz band. The Tiny Jazz Series will continue. Milawa Monday series with the final performances at The Milawa Cheese Factory, Henley’s Wine Bar and Kitchen, Lancemore and a closing party at Brown Brothers Winery.

On top of all this, there will be street performers, buskers, markets and many more fun surprises.
