Wangaratta is a two and a half hour drive from Central Melbourne.
Vline offer Train and Bus Services to/from Wangaratta: wherever you are - Echuca is located under 3 hours north of Melbourne, getting to Echuca by car is easy thanks to a great network of clearly signed and well-maintained highways. V Line operate buses and trains from all over Victoria to Echuca, head to the V Line website
Tickets to shows will be available for people of all ages. There will be family activities in the Streets and at the Community Stage at The Wangaratta Club. There will be markets over the weekend outside the Cathedral and roaming performers throughout the Streets.
The majority of venues are accessible by foot.
The exceptions being – The Vine 4.2KM, The Plough Inn 13KM and The Milawa Venues 15KM

No. But Victoria Parade will be a busy thoroughfare so we suggest avoiding the need to drive down here.
Yes. The Wangaratta community stage at the Wang Club will be a free event from 11AM – 4PM. There will be buskers, roaming performers and markets in the streets, so there will be plenty of things to keep you entertained.
No. This year each event will be individually ticketed. Capacities are quite limited at some venues, so if there is a show you wish to see, we recommend securing your ticket early.

The hospitality providers are bustling and provide great food and beverage services.
We are also blessed to have great neighbours. Milawa Gourmet region, King River winery region, Beechworth, Bright, Rutherglen, Yarrawonga, Winton Wetlands, Glenrowan, Corowa to name a few….

Neighbouring towns are a good alternative with Benalla, Beechworth, Corowa and Yarrawonga all within 45 minutes drive of Wangaratta.
There are a lot of local families who are willing to house people over the weekend too. So keep an eye on Air BNB and community noticeboards on Social Media for these options. There have been many lifelong friendships built from this option.
Camping and Caravaning are great options too!
