Entries have now closed for the 2024 National Jazz Award. Thankyou to all who have shown interest and submitted an entry for this life-changing opportunity. We know it’s going to be a hard call narrowing it down to just six finalists and can’t wait to listen to all the submissions. We look forward to an inspiring event at Wangaratta Jazz Festival on Saturday November 2nd.

The National Jazz Awards have always been a highlight of the festival weekend and create an electrifying level of excitement and intrigue. We strongly encourage anybody with a passion for music to book a ticket for this event and come and share in the spectacle of six of Australia’s best young players giving it their all with one of the best jazz rhythm sections you will hear anywhere - Mark Fitzgibbon on piano, Ben Robertson on bass, & Danny Fischer on drums.
