Monstress
Monstress are a 5-piece all female and non-binary creative collective based on Gadigal land in Sydney.
Front woman Sarah Homeh writes, manages, produces and performs for the band on electric bass and vocals. Drummer/percussionist Hayley Chan, keyboardist Hazel Alexander, guitarist/graphic designer Adrianna Cicchitelli, and saxophonist/vocalist Jenna Lewis not only perform with the band but are crucial collaborators during songwriting, composition, and physical/visual media creation.
Their jazz-infused grooves echo influences like Tank & the Bangas, Doja Cat, Lil Simz and Eryka Badu. Vocalist & Bassist, Sarah Homeh’s silky melodic hooks and spoken word spells slice through lush harmonies and imaginative solos of a stellar all-female & non-binary lineup.
